Hello there! My name is Arpad Antal, and I spent over 10 years in the hospitality world in the busiest kitchens in London, working to give people incredible experiences. But then came the pandemic, turning everything upside down. That's when I decided to jump into the IT world for a fresh start, all to secure a brighter future for my family.
During my hospitality days, they taught me things like talking well with people, finding clever solutions, and adapting when things get tricky. The pandemic showed me how important it is to be strong and use technology to keep things running.
Stepping into IT was a big move because I returned to learning as an adult. I studied Cloud Computing, which got me into networks and keeping things safe online. What seemed harsh at first got interesting as I dug deeper.
Mixing my old hospitality skills with this new IT stuff is pretty cool. I can bring in the joy I used to create, which fits right in with making things easy and good in IT. Also, I can handle fast and changing situations, just like in the hospitality days.
My aim for the future is to help develop clever ideas that make businesses and people better off. I'm excited to work with teams and learn new things.
My journey from hospitality to IT is more than just changing jobs; it's about growing and evolving as a person. It's about being tough, adapting, and building a better life for my family. As I move forward, I plan to keep a blog about my journey, so others can see how things are going and how I'm learning.
So there you have it—my story from working with guests to working with technology. It's like starting fresh, learning, and growing all over again. I can't wait to see where this IT adventure takes me!
Thank you for taking the time to read about my transition from hospitality to IT. I look forward to the future and would be delighted to connect with fellow enthusiasts and professionals in this dynamic field. Remember to follow my blog, where you can track every step of my ongoing journey.
